I’ve never struggled to write something. It’s been a natural, simple process where I simply reflect and post. You see those movies where they write something, then ball it up and throw it, leading to a mess of paper balls on the ground. Yeah, that’s nothing like me.
Today though, there was a definite mess of virtual paper chilling on the ground of the blog-o-sphere. Thoughts were flowing, and making themselves clear, but I couldn’t think of a reason why it was important that those thoughts specifically were shared. Place just doesn’t have a real purposeful clarity for me.
Perhaps that’s because my “place” is out in the open. At this time in my life, my future is basically unknown, and I’m not tied down to a specific location. I’m still waiting for God to place me where he wants. (See what I did there?)
If you are in a similar season of life, be glad, maybe even gladder than I am (which may not be too hard). If you have a stable ‘place’, be glad too. Really though, location isn’t really the issue for any of us. God is everywhere, so it’s not going to make a difference where you are.
The only place that matters is the place God has in our lives. So give Him that ‘front row spot with all the pillows and good snacks’ kind of place, because God’s already given that place to you.
